The number of treatments will vary from person to person depending on factors such as the type, severity of injury and how long you have had it.  On average it take between 2 and 6 treatments to get past an initial problem.  Some choose to attend for regular treatment, and others just return as they feel it's necessary.  Philippa will often suggest postural advice and suggested exercises to support your care.  

The initial appointment is up to 60 minutes long and follow up appointments are up to 20 minutes.

The clinic is located at 3 St Marks Road, Gosport, Hampshire PO12 2DA. Please come to the blue basement door and ring the bell on arrival.   

Philippa's clinic days are currently Mondays and Tuesdays 9.30-14.30 and Wednesdays 9.30-19.00

If you need to move or cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance you can do so through the cancellation link on your booking confirmation email for follow up appointments, If you need to reschedule your initial appointment, please email or call us to do so.  

If you need to cancel or rearrange less than 24 hours before your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, please get in touch as soon as you are able. Failure to attend without notice, or any appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment, may be charged in full.

 This is a great question and the simple answer is there is no ‘one size fits all’, but also that I will do my absolute best to find a recommendation that suits you.

For your first visit to the clinic we put aside an hour because your care plan needs to be tailored to you. Through taking a comprehensive history, talking though your needs, past experiences and aims along with completing a physical assessment I will get a very good idea of how often it might benefit you to visit a chiropractor. Once the initial problem has been overcome we sit together and reassess, formulating a plan just for you. I certainly have an Adjustment at least once per month and the majority of practice members visit once every 2-3 months, some more often and indeed some less. In an ideal world my aim is that we all remain pain free and functional between adjustments.

Whether you come in weekly or every few months I will always work with you to find a care plan that suits you perfectly.
